The day care center “Schlaue Füchse” opened its doors for another 95 children in August 2017. The typical GDR style building was renovated on three floors and converted to a play oasis. Baukind designed a color concept for each of the four groups, so the clever foxes could orientate themselves with ease.

The wardrobe area is much more than just a place for children to get changed. The children love to hang out here, hide and play catch. The accent colors of groups can be seen in wardrobes and hallways too. Red hallway, red group – that’s clear! And parents love this place, too, because they have space to relax and have a conversation.

Each of the six renovated bathrooms is finished in a fresh turquoise with orange accents. Even the toothbrush cups and towels fit the color scheme. Welcome to the yellow group! As in every group, there is a plateau and a multifunctional play and mattress platform. All platforms speak the same design language, but they differ in color and in their features, which are adapted to the group age level.
